Players are now able to enjoy Pokemon Scarlet & Violet at a smooth and silky 60 frames per second instead of the usual 30 FPS thanks to a modder known by the name of Theboy181 on Twitter along with a variety of other social media and digital content distribution platforms including GitHub. While the mod is not currently available to the public for download, Theboy181 has released a series of videos in order to prove this technical accomplishment.Pokemon Scarlet & Violet have only received an official release by developer Game Freak on the Nintendo Switch. The mod in question by someone calling themselves CrescentCrossbow on the popular website GameBanana was appropriately called Remove Sheeran. This interestingly came out on the same day as Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, in other words November 18, 2022. The mod works precisely as intended, removing the song by Ed Sheeran from the game and replacing the composition with one from Wada Koji. "What were you expecting? The mod replaces the credits song,” CrescentCrossbow explains.This comes in the wake of news that Pokemon Scarlet & Violet players have been demanding refunds on account of the various bugs in the game and the still ongoing performance issues. "Just got approved for an eShop refund for my Pokemon Scarlet preorder. If you're not liking the game, I urge you to do so as well," the user on Reddit going by the name of Sellouthipster for example remarked. The player was apparently granted a refund after having complained about these problems to Customer Support at Nintendo.

Among the most egregious bugs in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet is one that allows players to skip the tutorial. “Immediately after you get turned loose in the initial area around Los Platos, you're supposed to head up to the school in order to do Arceus only knows what,” someone going by the name of GalaxyHunter17 explained on Reddit. “I wouldn't know, I managed to exit the starting area without going to the school and never went back or officially started the story.”
