Now that the demo for Resident Evil 3 Remake is out and the full version is nearing release, fans of the series are preparing themselves for survival against the zombie horde and even Nemesis himself. Interestingly enough however, some fans have took the time to make the demo experience more terrifying for themselves by taking it up a notch.

YouTuber FluffyQuack has recently uploaded a video in which he plays through the Resident Evil 3 Remake demo but replaces every single enemy with Nemesis. Any and every zombie that Jill Valentine normally encounters during the course of the demo is essentially turned into the unkillable, spine-chilling creature. Ultimately, it seems that the goal of the mod is to make the demo more of a challenge on how to truly survive and get to the end in one piece.

One thing worth mentioning is that even though every zombie becomes Nemesis (even the ones that are out of bounds), the mod isn't exactly as smooth as one would want it to be. For example, in the very first zombie encounter, one can see that Nemesis does a T-pose-like animation when spawning into the cutscene. Additionally, the Nemesis' that break through the fence also have an awkward animation to them (while still doing a T-pose). Nonetheless, the creatures behave exactly the way they should after the cutscenes, which certainly makes running past them a bit of a struggle.

This isn't the first time a similar mod has taken the game's experience to a new level. In Resident Evil 2, modders were able to change Mr. X into a variety of other characters including Dr Disrespect, Geralt, Ciri, Thomas the Tank Engine, and more. As a result of their work, there is a very high chance that similar mods will be published for Resident Evil 3 Remake in the future.

Resident Evil 3 Remake will release on April 3, 2020 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and will be bundled with Resident Evil Resistance - a 1 vs 4 multiplayer experience. While the demo for the main game is already out, an open beta for Resident Evil Resistance is scheduled to go live on March 27.
