If you’ve always thought that Minecraft basically resembled Legos to begin with like many have, that is now exactly what it’s been turned into. Someone has released a mod that quite literally turns Minecraft into a Lego wonderland. This new mod is known as MineBricks.

Macio6 Productions released the first MineBricks mod to turn bricks into Legos earlier this year, but there have since been other versions that contain numerous improvements. The most recent version reportedly adds posters that look like stickers, as exemplified by a post on Reddit.

In addition to posters, version five includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • redesigned main menu and UI elements
  • smaller file size
  • new walking/destroying sounds and explosion sounds
  • improved reflection maps
  • updated grass
  • animated lava
  • paintings (that look like stickers, 26 textures)

The creator of this texture pack has shared all the details on everything that is included, which version you should get, and the instructions for downloading. You can explore and do a thorough readthrough here.

In other Minecraft news, one dedicated fan recently recreated the town of Whiterun from Skyrim. This fan has crafted what seems to be every single detail from the town in Minecraft, and we are more than just a little impressed. They’ve even included the cloud district, so you’re going to want to check out this creation for yourself.
