Surprise surprise, we have more God of War mods this week. When a PlayStation exclusive gets ported over to PC, you can count on fans to create a whole bunch of mods in a scarily small amount of time. Whether it’s being able to jump into the action faster, or making Kratos even more pleasing to the eyes, modders definitely know what everyone wants.

We also have showings from The Witcher and Doom this week, two titles we definitely do not cover enough in these round-ups. But first, we of course have to open on what the God of War community has been up to.

God Of War Mod Makes Armor Invisible So You Can Stare At Kratos' Chest The Whole Time

God of War is now moddable, so you know what that means. It may have only just launched on PC, but fans are already making Kratos shirtless, so you can gawk at those pecs without the hindrance of armour. You’ll still get all the perks that come with suiting up - it will just be invisible so as to not block the view. Given the current state of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Nexus Mods page - which also launched on PC recently - this will be far from the last mod that allows us to appreciate Kratos’ assets. Modders will always find a way.

PC PlayStation Studios Intro Logo

Yet again, the fans definitely have their priorities straight. For some reason, PlayStation kept its unskippable intro in the PC release, something players weren’t too happy about. Thankfully, being on PC means you can take it into your own hands, with this latest mod letting you skip it entirely. You can now bring God of War more in line with every game ever, and skip the opening company logos.

Witcher 3 Mod Gives Geralt His Netflix Outfits

Netflix’s The Witcher is back, meaning we’re getting another dose of Henry Cavill’s take on Geralt of Rivia. If you’ve found yourself watching and thinking “goddamn, I wish I was him”, you’re far from alone. No, this won’t help you in real life, but thanks to this mod, you can run around in The Witcher 3 looking just like the actor. The most obvious change is the face, which looks just like Cavill’s. But it also changes his wardrobe, as Geralt adopts a much more casual look.

This Doom Mod Combines The Creepiness Of Alien And System Shock

Doom already has a great sense of foreboding, but this mod turns the second instalment into a complete survival horror game. Siren, a mod for the 1994 PC release, Doom 2, takes inspiration from System Shock and the Alien games, upping the creepiness and making each step down the hallways even more terrifying. Not bad for a game that’s not far off turning 30.
