Well-known channel TheGamingRevolution has leaked a variety of new maps potentially coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in the near future. Two of the maps featured in the leak, Rust and Shipment, hail from Call of Duty 4 and are beloved by the community.

In addition to said areas, the leaker also gave notice of a variety of different tweaks coming to the game. Features such as voting on maps and even weaponry (like the crossbow) are said to be included. If that wasn't enough, the video also highlighted upcoming modes as well, including Drop Zone, One in the Chamber, Hardpoint, Demolition, and the highly anticipated return of Gun Game.

Thus far, the only gripe holding back Modern Warfare with any merit is the relatively minuscule number of maps along with the fact that much of the fanbase has been railing on Infinity Ward for its overall design. Maybe Infinity Ward knows exactly what it is doing by drip-feeding players certain content. It didn't just earn $600 million in sales on Call of Duty for nothing, after all.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare featured an array of twisting, turning, and tunneling multiplayer maps. Some of the finest battlefields include Crash, Countdown, Bloc, and Crossfire, which are relatively large scale affairs. Many of the most memorable, though, are the much smaller maps like Shipment and Rust.

In his video, TheGamingRevolution discusses how the first Modern Warfare DLC will give longtime Call of Duty fans a blast from the past in multiple ways. The well-loved Terminal map may also be getting a much-needed resurgence in the game.

While Activision has made no comment on the rumors and leaks, TheGamingRevoltuion has been known to get things right before -such as the inclusion of Trials in Modern Warfare and Black Ops 3 Zombies DLC-. He has harkened back to multiple Tweets in the past in order to back up his present claims on top of the many secrets he publishes through data mining. It's pretty clear he knows what he's selling.

Though Modern Warfare has its kinks and there are plenty of players already annoyed by the overall gameplay design, there's no denying it's one of the best Call of Duty iterations since Modern Warfare 3. The Spec-Ops survival year-long exclusivity on PlayStation may have hurt the game only a tad at prerelease, but it has still garnered a mountain of praise from both gamers and critics alike.

While a negative event in history was not only stunted but glossed over entirely during the game's story, Modern Warfare sports a heck of a campaign. The game is best experienced on a well-tuned sound system or through noise-canceling headphones as the developers stress the importance of tactical realism and situational awareness.
