Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is out soon, July 9, on Nintendo Switch. Ahead of its summer launch, Capcom has released a new E3 trailer highlighting the game's story.

Monster Hunter Stories saw its last entry nearly five years ago on the Nintendo 3Ds, and this provides us our first peak at Capcom's narrative for its second installment, Wings of Ruin. The trailer features a few beasties some of you hunters may already be familiar with, like a big bad Rathalos right out of the gate.

With the launch just around the corner, Capcom has already revealed what comes coupled with its Deluxe Edition for Wings of Ruin. You'll of course get the base game, along with a Kuan Coat costume for Ena, and Layered Armor for your character In the former of Razewing armor. You'll also grab a few other smaller goodies, like stickers, Spiky Neral hair, and costumes for Navirou inspired by Pukei-Pukei and Nergigante.

Monster Hunter Stories 2 will also include three new amiibo in the form of Ena, Razewing Ratha, and Tsukino. They'll each unlock a different special layered armor set, and be available at launch.
