The Xbox spring sale begins today, bringing with it some great deals for players wishing to invest in the Xbox Game Pass. If you aren’t a current subscriber to Game Pass, you can now get your first month for just $1 in time for April’s line up, which includes Monster Hunter World.

The Game Pass for Xbox One works in the different way to Xbox Live Gold. While Gold membership allows you access to online services and some older games titles, the Game Pass offers access to much newer games.

As long as your Game Pass subscription is active, you’ll have access to a range of AAA titles, including new release Xbox exclusives, which you can play for free.

April’s Game Pass line up has just been announced and the six titles will be released throughout the course of the month. These titles join existing games, including Shadow Of The Tomb Raider, Crackdown 3, and Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3.

The first games to appear will be Bethesda’s space station shooter, Prey, and sports simulator The Golf Club 2. Both titles will be available from April 11.

The next wave of games, coming on April 18, will give players access to Capcom’s action role-playing game Monster Hunter World, the latest title in the popular franchise. Telltale’s episodic graphic adventure, The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, will also be released on the same day.

Fans of episodic games will also be able to continue Sean and Daniel’s adventure when Life Is Strange 2, Episode 2 appears on April 24.

The final title for the month is the Xbox One port of Resident Evil 5, which will hit the Game Pass on April 25.
