A Mortal Kombat 11 player has made an 8-character combo with everyone’s favorite soul-stealing sorcerer, Shang Tsung.

Shang Tsung arrived in Mortal Kombat 11 everywhere as of June 25th after being in early access for a week, so you might be seeing him more often in your online matches (if you haven’t already swapped to him as your new main bae already). Played by Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, the same guy who portrayed him in the 1995 Mortal Kombat movie, Shang Tsung is quickly becoming a favorite among pros and casual players alike.

In fact, one Redditor has already created an 8-character combo using Tsung in honor of his arrival.

User LukeTheNinja12 spent countless minutes (maybe even an hour) toying with Tsung’s moveset until he gathered the maximum number of possible characters into a single, hard-hitting combo.

Starting with Frost, Luke begins with a Cryogenic Crown to get the ball (and head) moving, which freezes the opposing Frost in her tracks (not that she was moving much at all, as it appears this combo was recorded in training mode). Next, Luke changes back to Shang Tsung and uses a quick scroll reading to prevent the freeze from breaking and leads into a solid sternum breaker to shatter the freeze and continue the combo.

Next, Luke swaps to Rain for his powerful teleporting roundhouse attack, which sends the opposing Frost flying to the other side of the screen. There, Shang Tsung once again appears to juggle her with a quick jab and a Cyrax bomb, bringing our total character count to four.

There’s some debate as to whether or not Cyrax should be counted as a character since it’s really an environment interaction and not Shang Tsung becoming Cyrax. Still, we’re going to count it just as LukeTheNinja12 does.

Moving on, we arrive at Ermac for some telekinetic slams, then back to Shang Tsung for a quick soul blast and to move into his Fatal Blow, Shapeshifter’s Barrage. This move was showcased during Shang Tsung’s reveal at the end of May and involves him turning into Sub-Zero for an icicle through the noggin, Scorpion for some harpoon to the throat, and finally, Smoke for a teleporting spine breaker drop.

Best of all, this combo drops the opponent’s health by a full two-thirds. Now, let's see if anyone can pull this crazy combo off in a real match.
