The rumor mill regarding Mortal Kombat 11 DLC has been very active again in recent times, and the activity continues with potential hits at three new DLC characters to be added eventually.

Three of the most often rumored DLC fighters include Ash Williams of the Evil Dead series and what would be returning Mortal Kombat characters Sheeva and Fujin. Consequently, recent discoveries in the game's files imply that these fighters will be coming to Mortal Kombat 11 at some point in time.

These files were discovered by Twitter user thethiny who posted to Twitter stating that the game files for Ash Williams, Sheeva, and Fujin have been added back into the game with the recent Spawn update. This is following their brief disappearance from the game's files, causing worry among Evil Dead fans. The tweet from thethiny can be seen below posted to a Reddit page for Mortal Kombat leaks.

Since there has been no official announcement from Warner Bros. or anyone affiliated with the Mortal Kombat series, it would be best to take this with a grain of salt. This said, thethiny regularly tweets related content to Mortal Kombat 11, so they may well be putting out strong information. Yet, it has also been proven that game files may not be the best indicators of what's to come anyway, especially as indicated by a recent instance where an image of a Nintendo Switch controller was found in Red Dead Redemption 2's game files.

However, given the constant leaks related to Ash Williams' addition to Mortal Kombat 11, it continues to appear more and more likely that the famous horror movie character will be coming to the game. Rumors of his addition extend back into 2019. He is currently featured in Dead by Daylight, though his addition to Mortal Kombat 11 would certainly add a different flavor.

Sheeva and Fujin are otherwise very sensible additions to Mortal Kombat 11. Given their place in previous Mortal Kombat entries, their return would round out the expansive roster. Hopefully, we will find out who the next batch of fighters is soon enough, as well as when they will be added to Mortal Kombat 11.
