There’s a new rumor that says Kombat Pack 3 is coming to Mortal Kombat 11 with four new three returning characters and one guest character.

With the arrival of Aftermath and its three new playable characters, attention now turns back to NetherRealm Studios for a third Kombat Pack. Rumors have been circulating for weeks discussing just which new and returning characters NetherRealm might slot into Mortal Kombat 11, ranging from the likes of John Wick and Deathstroke to id Software’s Doom Slayer.

Sadly, a new leak on Reddit is putting the brakes on all those great ideas. The anonymous source says they work at NetherRealm and all the previous “leaks” you might have heard about are all false. There will be no Doom Slayer in MK11, even though it would be awesome, so we can all get that out of our systems right now.

What they do say will come to Mortal Kombat 11’s third Kombat Pack is three male characters and one female “guest” character. They don’t make any mention of who those characters will be, other than to say that one of the male characters will be “an unfortunate bystander."

Since the male bystander character is someone already from Mortal Kombat lore, then the only one I can think of would be Stryker. He was a beat cop during the Earthrealm invasion back in Mortal Kombat 9, so he’d make the most sense as an MK character that just got caught up in the flow of events.

As for the other male characters, we still haven’t seen the cyborgs Sektor and Cyrax in any real way even though there’s an entire stage dedicated to the manufacture of Lin Kuei robots. Reptile is also a possibility, as is Bo' Rai Cho, a beloved DLC character from MKX that would serve to balance some of the fighting styles already present in MK11.

The female guest character is far harder to guess, but here’s hoping it’s Xena, Warrior Princess. I mean, they put in Robocop, so why not a ‘90s TV action/drama star?
