Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is out today, and if you're coming to the game for the first time, you might be overwhelmed. After all, you're dealing with a stacked roster and different variations for each character - not to mention the usual trial-and-error rigmarole that comes with getting into a fight game. However, unlike a lot of its competition, MK11 has a huge boon for newcomers: an excellent tutorial mode.
If "frame data" sounds like jargon nonsense to you, you'd do well to check this mode out. There's a wealth of knowledge available in the gaming's tutorial mode, alongside personalized lessons for every single character. I've been playing fighting games my entire life, and frankly, I can't remember one that makes it this easy to get into. Even as a seasoned player and passionate follower of the FGC, MK11's tutorials sharpened up a lot of my fundamentals and even taught me some new tricks.
So if you're jumping into MK11U fresh, absolutely make sure you check these lessons out. If you plan on sticking around the game for a while, it'll teach you things that'll turn you into a more lethal Kombantant. Plus, you unlock stuff for doing them!
