MultiVersus will not stop at the moment with its character additions, as it's been confirmed that Black Adam will be joining the roster at some point this week, along with an update that finally brings an Arcade Mode to the platform fighter. This was revealed by the official MultiVersus Twitter account, but doesn't reveal on which day exactly the update will drop. From what we can tell from previous character drops, MultiVersus usually introduces big updates on either Tuesdays or Thursdays. Since Tuesday is probably a little too soon, we can guess that Black Adam and Arcade Mode will be dropping on 27 October, but that hasn't been confirmed just yet.Related: MultiVersus' Character Leveling Adjustment Is Like Fixing A Hangnail With A Shotgun BlastIt also seems that the update may have been delayed internally, that's if what an email shared by a MultiVersus dataminer is accurate. Just a couple of days ago, an email sent out by Warner Bros. seemed to suggest that Black Adam would be added to MultiVersus on October 25. While that's still technically possible, it's more likely that the update has been delayed slightly, similar to what happened with Gizmo when he was set to be added last month.

Once Black Adam releases, that'll be it for the already announced characters for Season 1, leaving the rest of the season a complete mystery as to who/what might be added next. Ranked mode will probably launch at some point before the start of Season 2 on November 15, and voice lines for both Beetlejuice and the Wicked Witch from the Wizard of Oz were found recently, which could be potential additions for the spooky season.

We also have a new Space Jam-themed stage, that is currently available to try out either in Labs or Custom Matches, which will probably be introduced into online rotation once all of the kinks have been worked out.
