Despite the most minor of delays, the addition of Gizmo to the MultiVersus roster is right around the corner, and Player First Games has given us our first clue as to just how the little Mogwai will play by revealing his class as well as a few moves from his moveset.Revealed via the official MultiVersus Twitter account, it is now confirmed that Gizmo will be a support character, joining the likes of Velma, Steven Universe, and Reindog. We also got descriptions of three moves from Gizmo's moveset, which suggest the character will be heavily reliant on ranged attacks.Related: I Love MultiVersus' Toast Mechanic, But It Is Giving Me Trust IssuesAccording to Gizmo's class breakdown, one of his attacks will let players shoot opponents with a bow and arrow, igniting them if the bow is fully charged when fired. Gizmo will also be able to leap and attach onto the backs of allies and sing musical notes that will go off and attack enemies, essentially turning him into a ferocious musical backpack.

Unfortunately, we'll have to wait a little bit longer to see Gizmo in action since today's announcement was just his class and brief descriptions of his moves, but he will be available to purchase and play as this Thursday on September 8. We don't know how much Gizmo will cost at the minute, although you'd think it's pretty unlikely that he'll be in the "Expert" category since Morty cost a hefty 3,000 coins when he was added earlier in Season 1.

In related news, if you're expecting Stripe to drop alongside Gizmo, you're going to be disappointed as MultiVersus director Tony Huynh recently explained that the two are different characters and not a joint character like many had expected. When asked whether Gizmo and Stripe will be echo fighters - essentially different characters with very similar movesets - Huynh explained that Gizmo and Stripe are "completely different characters." As for when Stripe will be added, we've yet to hear about a release date for him or the previously announced Black Adam.
