Devolver Digital has announced that quirky shoot-em-up My Friend Pedro will be coming to the PS4 on April 2, 2020. Originally released last year on PC, Xbox One, and Switch, this belated Sony edition will include the extra "Code Yellow" DLC that the previous versions got. That added heavily requested HUD features for speedrunners.

For some reason, PS4 users missed out on the game last year. That error will soon be corrected. If you're wondering about whether or not to get the game, it is a pretty solid time. Maybe over a little too quickly, the game strikes a balance between being gory as hell and offering visceral thrills. It also features a neat bullet-time mechanic for slowing down the world.

Apart from having that extra content, there isn't anything new being added to this PS4 port. This will be the same game as every other release, just a year later. It should have PS4 Pro support, though the YouTube page doesn't make mention of that.

If you're still undecided and happen to have Xbox Game Pass, My Friend Pedro is currently available on both PC and Xbox One. That will let you see if this is the right game for you.
