The voice actor for Sterling Archer has been named in the new Destiny 2 credits for a completely unknown character.

Bungie recently updated the credits of Destiny 2 to better reflect the people who have been working on the game since it's release. That's a good thing as there must have been plenty of folks that have worked on Destiny 2 since the game's release back in 2017.

However, an eagle-eyed Twitter user noted that the credits have a familiar voice actor's name above a completely unfamiliar character.

As you can see in the below image, the new credits list H. John Benjamin as the voice of someone named "Scabretti." We have absolutely no idea who Scabretti is, but John Benjamin is likely the same guy who plays Sterling Archer in Archer as well as Bob Belcher in Bob's Burgers.

We should point out it might not be the same guy. The voice of Archer usually spells his name Jon, not John, and goes by either H. Jon Benjamin or just Jon Benjamin in his TV shows. So it could be a coincidence that a completely new voice actor has the same name with a slightly different spelling, but it's probably the same guy.

Believe it or not, this isn’t the first time Jon Benjamin appeared in Destiny 2. On his IMDB page, Benjamin is listed as being in the game back in 2017 as “Radio Voice.” That voice is most likely related to the original introduction of Destiny 2 before it was changed with the introduction of Shadowkeep. According to this Reddit post, if you stayed near the sleeping bags at the campsite, you could hear radio chatter that was voiced by Jon Benjamin.

As for who this Scabretti character is, your guess is as good as ours. It could be that Scabretti is just the name of the Radio Voice, but it seems strange to bother naming a bit part two years later. It could be that Scabretti is a completely new character that will be introduced later in the season.

A quick search of the Destiny wikis reveals absolutely no matches to “Scabretti” so this seems like the most likely outcome. Or we might be in for the weirdest crossover event in gaming history as Archer invades Destiny 2. Stay tuned to find out.
