Myth of Empires provides a wide array of tools with which you can slay your enemies in the brutal and bitter world of the Eastern Continent. The game offers you over 100 different weapons to choose from, and all these weapons must be crafted by you first, giving each one you use a distinct sense of accomplishment from the get-go.

From ranged to two-handed weapons, there are many play styles to pursue. For now, though, let's look at the eight best weapons in Myth of Empires. These are the weapons to aspire towards and what you can expect to use nearer to the end of your time with the game.

8 Meteoric Iron Mace: (Two-Handed)

This extremely powerful weapon will become available to you at level 60, so it's definitely a bit of a grind to get it. It also requires high proficiency in two-handed weapons to be able to wield. With a base piercing damage of 418, it's a very powerful weapon if you can catch your enemies with it. But to make up for its lack of finesse, this weapon destroys most shields on impact, which makes it a great tool for eliminating shielded opponents.

7 Dragontongue Bow: (Ranged)

One of the premier bows on the game, the Dragontongue offers best-in-class usability after being unlocked at level 51. Firstly, any and all arrows can be used in tandem with this bow, and it offers a 629.5% multiplier on the base damage of those arrows. This grants it extraordinary damage and it will one-shot many rivals — it's particularly useful whilst sneaking around. Its main adversary is the Rarewood bow, but with its higher accuracy and shorter reload time, the Dragontongue bow makes up and surpasses any small difference in damage.

6 Quake Hammer: (One-Handed)

As an oversized blunt instrument, there's not a great deal that's graceful about this weapon. It is used to simply overpower and smash enemies. It deals crushing damage (unsurprisingly) and has a damage of 491. Be prepared for a timesink, as it requires a staggering 45 minute build time and will need some of the rarest ingredients in the game.

Moving on to the weapon itself, it is especially effective at smashing armor and therefore should be the weapon of choice when fighting against more esteemed enemies, such as knights and the like.

5 Shuttle Spear: (Throwing)

The shuttle spear is very useful in medium-range combat against large groups of enemies — you'll want to be carrying this one in a pitched battle. It's absolutely wonderful for softening up the opposition before heading towards them yourself. It boasts an accuracy of 2.8 and a range of up to 16 meters. Once it hits your enemy, it will do piercing damage of 666. The reload time of 2 seconds means it can be used fairly rapidly to put out a significant amount of damage without having to put yourself at risk in close combat.

4 Meteoric Shield

When push comes to shove, anything can be a weapon. This shield can serve as a weapon as well as protection. With its damage type as blunt, it has a thoroughly decent 175 damage when bashing enemies. Unlocked at level 60, the meteoric shield obviously works best with a one-handed weapon and complements your main weapon well by having its own damage output.

3 Dual Crescent Halberd: (Polearm)

Requiring nine ingots of three different types, this polearm is the most elite weapon of its class and is well worth the trouble of getting your hands on it. Dealing damage through slashing as well as piercing, it has a damage potential of 703.

Alongside this, it has tremendous shield-breaking abilities allowing you to get at the enemy and deal some real damage. If this wasn't enough, it has the highest durability on this list, and so it will not be needing repairs or replacement for some time if you're lucky.

2 Black Iron Axe: (One-Handed)

The black iron axe is a magic weapon that's well suited to the hands of elite players and veterans. Unlocked at level 60, it has two damage types — slashing and piercing. The former type offers up to 517 damage and the latter up to 346. As a one-handed weapon, it will output damage in a concentrated manner to eliminate foes very quickly and efficiently. Combined with an effective shield, the black iron axe represents one of the most powerful weapons available to you.

1 Meteoric Iron Blade: (One-Handed)

Taking the top spot is this one-handed weapon unlocked (once again) at level 60. Like most other weapons of its type, it has two different damage modes — slashing and piercing. They offer up to 443 and 489 damage, respectively. Unlike other blades, this offers more opportunities to damage your opponent. Like all one-handed weapons, it offers maximum usability — it can be used on a horse and in conjunction with a shield, rendering it efficient in nearly all scenarios. Building on this, it offers a higher chance of being fatal to the enemy at the first blow, giving you even more of a chance to finish fights early.
