Microsoft has announced that NASCAR Heat 5, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 And Space Crew Free will be available to play for free with Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate this weekend.
If players purchase the games afterward, they can keep their Gamerscore and earned achievements and pick up where they left off. The three games are currently on sale: NASCAR Heat 5 Standard Edition is 33% off at $20.09 and NASCAR Heat 5 Gold Edition is 33% off at $30.14. Meanwhile, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is 75% off at $7.50, and Space Crew is 33% off at $13.39.
NASCAR Heat 5, a racing game simulating the 2020 NASCAR season, was developed by 704Games and published by Motorsport Games on July 10, 2020 for PS4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows via Steam. Chase Elliott is the cover star for the standard edition, while Tony Stewart is the cover star for the Gold Edition. Although similar to its predecessor, NASCAR Heat adds a new single-player track testing mode.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2, a first-person action game developed and published by Fatshark, is the sequel to 2015's Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide. Released for Windows on 8 March 2018, Vermintide 2 was subsequently released for Xbox One on 11 July 2018, and for PS4 on 18 December 2018. Set in the Warhammer Fantasy fictional universe, players join forces to battle the Chaos army and a race of rat-men known as the Skaven.
Space Crew, a strategic survival simulation game developed by Runner Duck and published by Curve Digital, was released for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam on October 15, 2020. The game, a sequel to Bomber Crew, has players join the United Defense Force to venture across the galaxy on a mission to defend Earth.
The games can be downloaded from the Xbox website or on a console. To download on console, players must click on the subscriptions tab in the Xbox Store and enter the Gold member area to find the Free Play Days collection. The free play weekend runs until 11:59 PM PT on Sunday, February 14.
