The NBA 2K21 team has revealed MyTeam Season 7: Full Throttle, a new season that will allow you to move your way up to Level 40 whilst completing new challenges and earning all kinds of new rewards.

Season 7: Full Throttle will be the quickest MyTeam season so far, being only four weeks long. But that only means it'll be that much more intense, of course.

Starting off strong, Season 7 will see 150,000 XP being released on Day 1, which ought to get you well on your way to reaching that Level 40 goal. More XP will of course also be released throughout the season, inching you towards receiving the Season 7 Level 40 reward, Dark Matter Vince Carter.

More Dark Matter reward cards can be earned in addition to that one, too. Collectible legends will include Elgin Baylor, Larry Johnson, Sidney Moncrief, Bailey Howell, Larry Kenon, and Louie Dampier. There is also a 1,000 card limited release in the Dark Matter Reward Market for Bill Walton.

Speaking of markets and rewards, starting tomorrow, May 8, and last all of next week, you can head to the Token Market to get yourself some exclusive packs containing Hall of Fame badges and other surprises. On top of that, also starting tomorrow, all MyTeam players will be getting a Hall of Fame badge everyday next week. Simply log in each day to claim it.

Other things you can look forward to this season is the return of Spotlight Sim, as well as new rewards including the final basketball cards in the Fire Basketball collection, the brand-new Holographic Basketball, and Lifetime Agendas that you'll receive upon successful completion of some of the new upcoming challenges.

Finally, Visual Concepts has announced a new base set - Current Series 3 - which will be launching alongside Season 7. Included in the set are first-ever Galaxy Opal base cards of both Stephen Curry and LeBron James.
