100,000 of the custom rides already created for Need for Speed Heat are featured in multiple versions of the game's launch trailer.

There's not exactly a shortage of racing games on the market right now, nor has there ever been for the past 25 years. That alone makes it very difficult to create a successful racing franchise that can last the test of time. The likes of Forza and Gran Turismo have managed to do exactly that, as has EA via Need for Speed.

The original Need for Speed was released all the way back in 1994. 24 games later, the latest installment in the franchise is about to hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. NFS Heat will be released across all three platforms on November 8, 2019. Gamers have been able to get in on the fun a little early though via NFS Heat Studio, a tool that allows players to create custom rides ahead of the game's release.

EA has reported via a press release that since the opening of the studio, more than two million players have created custom rides in anticipation of Heat's release. Five of those designs were so good that EA selected them to be a part of NFS Heat's official launch trailer, which you can check out above.

However, due to the sheer amount of terrific designs from various players, EA didn't stop there. The developer has sent custom trailers to 100,000 of the studio's car designers in which the car they designed is the "hero car." If you've used the studio to create a car, it might be time to check your inbox to see if you got a custom trailer.

Although only five cars could make the official launch trailer, trailers featuring celebrity-designed cars will be debuted by EA between now and NFS Heat's release. Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and French Montana are among some of the more famous people who have designed custom rides for NFS Heat. Keep your eyes peeled for future trailers featuring their perfect cars.
