Noise is the term given to the enemies in NEO: The World Ends With You, and these enemies can be found and fought by using your Scan function and then interacting/touching their emblems to initiate a battle. Noise icons are red and will chase towards you when they are close by, for the most part.

There are a couple of rare Noise types that you can encounter in the game; Pig Noise is one of these, represented by pink icons, whereas the other Noise type is the elusive blue Noise. What's so special about blue Noise? Well, we'll tell you all you need to know right here.

What Is Blue Noise?

NEO The World Ends With You Blue Noise

Blue Noise is a rare type of enemy that doesn't appear as often as your standard red Noise. When in Scan mode, if you approach a blue Noise emblem, it will actively try and flee from you — so you'll need to chase it down in order to start the battle. Of course, that chase isn't for nothing, the rewards are well worth it.

Though the enemies found from blue Noise seem to be nothing special, beginning a battle with a blue Noise emblem will increase your drop rate by x3.0. What's more, you can still chain other enemies alongside a blue Noise enemy, so for example, if you start a two-reduction chain battle with one blue Noise and one standard red Noise, your drop rate will be x6.0.

As a result, blue Noise is an enemy you should always aim to chase down and battle as these rare enemies offer a great opportunity to farm more pins, even more so if you manage to chain other Noise battles too.
