Nerf Legends launches tomorrow, November 19, for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. To celebrate, a brand-new launch trailer has been released showing off exactly what players can expect when they jump into the fast-paced FPS to become the ultimate Nerf legend.

Based on Hasbro’s iconic Nerf toy line, the game puts you in a variety of different combat arenas as you take on other competitors all vying for the glory of being crowned a Nerf legend. You’ll choose from an impressive arsenal of blasters and other recognizable Nerf products – featuring 15 authentic Nerf blasters from the brand’s Mega, Ultra, and Elite lines (including some 2021 blaster releases) – as you take on NPCs and bosses in the game’s single-player story mode. You’ll also be able to compete against friends in the game’s online multiplayer mode which allows you to play with up to eight other players at once – whether it's a 4v4 match or an 8-player free-for-all battle.

As you pull off acrobatic trick shots and rise through the ranks, you’ll be able to unlock and customize your character with upgradeable blaster perks and skins.

With its cartoony, Fortnite-styled aesthetic, Nerf Legends appears to be a great title for younger gamers – especially those who may be struggling a bit to get into Halo Infinite’s recently released multiplayer mode. At the very least, Nerf Legends should be a great option for family get togethers this holiday season, whether you’re playing against younger family members or simply reveling in a nostalgic video game version of the Nerf wars you used to take part in as a kid yourself.

The game will feature a standard edition ($49.99), as well as a Digital Deluxe Edition ($59.99), which includes the “Alpha Pack” containing the Nerf Elite 2.0 Echo CS-10 blaster, the Nerf Elite 2.0 Phoenix CS-6 blaster, and the special Alpha Suit outfit.

Nerf Legends will be released on November 19 for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
