Netflix continues to add games to its growing roster. While Netflix is obviously best known for its stable of TV shows and movies, the streamer is making headway into the world of video games as it invests in studios to make its own games, but also signing up titles to include in its subscription offering.

Netflix has now added two further titles to its bundle of game offerings (via Engadget). These are the fantastic Kentucky Route Zero and the controversial Twelve Minutes. Both games are published by Annapurna Interactive and have picked up awards, with point-and-click adventure Kentucky Route Zero being especially garlanded, while Twelve Minutes was nominated for Best Independent Game at The Game Awards last year.

In addition, Netflix revealed what's coming ahead in 2023 for its games offerings. Coming early next year includes the retro-tinted beat 'em up Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge. Those who adore the arcade classics of the 1980s and 1990s will find themselves grinning from ear to ear with this one.

Twelve Minutes Not Playing

Another title coming in early 2023 is Vikings: Valhalla, which ties up with the Netflix show Vikings and its sequel. This is a strategy title where players lead Viking clans and build settlements, eventually meeting other clans and fighting for dominance as you expand.

Finally, three Ubisoft titles are coming to Netflix next year, with the first of them being Valiant Hearts: Coming Home. It is a follow-up to Valiant Hearts: The Great War and tells the story of the Harlem Hellfighters, the first African-American infantry unit to be deployed in World War I.

While excellent games such as Into the Breach, Before Your Eyes, and Sam Barlow's Immortality are available via your Netflix subscription, apparently only one percent of the service's subscribers are playing them. But it's easy to do so. You'll need to have the Netflix app downloaded onto your iOS or Android device, then simply scroll to the Netflix Games section, and pick one you like the look of and click on it. This will take you to Netflix Games page where it'll direct you to your app store where you'll then download your chosen game. Then play! You'll be having more choice than ever in 2023.
