PlayStation just dropped a new trailer for Ghost of Tsushima focusing on the protagonist's samurai creed. The one-minute-long trailer is thought to be the last before the game's release next month.

Accompanying March's story trailer, this final teaser has already been well-received on Twitter accompanied with a Jin emoji. The trailer does not promote any actual gameplay, therefore it's fair to say this remaining teaser was designed to build some hype and nothing more. Fans welcomed the cinematic images with enthusiasm, as many repeatedly praised the game's cinematography.

Titled 'A Storm is Coming', the new trailer begins with Tsushima's protagonist, Jin, kneeling on a beach whilst removing his samurai helmet. The eerie pan flutes of Tsushima's score accompanies a voice over depicting Jin's duties as a samurai. The beautiful landscape shots are one of the key selling points of the upcoming game, flaunting its beautiful colors and life-like wind design. The remainder of the trailer features jump cuts as Jin sprints through different locations, providing combat death blows as he goes. The closing shot is of Jin attaching his Oni mask that pegs him as a very apt hero for these pandemic days.

Have a look at the trailer below:

Jin Sakai is Ghost of Tsushima's samurai protagonist who carries nobility and loyalty to the samurai ways. Having grown up on Tsushima island, he is one of 80 that stands to defend Tsushima from the Mongol invasion. Jin appears to follow the moral samurai code Bushido that depicts death before dishonor and is a prominent theme in this new trailer. The ability to perform different skills and tactics as a Ghost betrays the samurai's code of honor and inevitably gives Jin a constant attack of conscience.

Jin's loyalty to living and dying by the samurai code is an admirable quality for the hero of Ghost of Tsushima. This new trailer hints at the internal questions Jin may be faced with throughout the main story of Tsushima that promises a certain depth to the narrative that could make this game truly spectacular. Little is known of why Jin feels conflicted, as our only clue to go on lies with the abilities he uses as a ghost that somehow marks him as an outsider to his fellow islanders.

Ghost of Tsushima is only a month away with no whisper of a delay, as of yet. Many players within the gaming community have already named Tsushima as their game of the year. With the beautiful qualities, both technical and visual, shown in the trailers gone before, it's hard to disagree.
