Nintendo has just released a new licensed memory card for the Switch. These memory cards offer big and reliable storage capacity in a tiny, adorable form.

The new licensed memory cards are microSDXC created by SanDisk, a popular brand for back-up tech. The card adds 256GB of storage capacity to the console’s existing 32GB. This new card allows Switch users to store all of their games on the same card, as well as 100MB per second transfer rates and load times. Memory cards come in handy the most for gamers who opt for downloads over buying physical copies of games. Prices range between $50 and $100, so choose your retailer wisely.

To add a little Nintendo flair to the cards they are branded with a popular image from Super Mario Bros., the iconic star power-up; an apt choice for a little thing that will give the system such an upgrade. Previous memory cards for the Switch were also branded with Super Mario Bros. emblems. At half the size as this new release, cards featuring the signature mushroom and a red background are also on the market.

This is a whopper of an addition to the Switch and will be a real asset to gamers at a time when people are playing harder and longer than normally.
