What Can You Buy With Gold?

The most important thing to remember with Gold in Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds is not to over-spend or craft more than you need. There are lots of opportunities where you can spend Gold, but not all of them are essential, especially when you're first starting out. You'll occasionally have to buy an item from a merchant, but try to be frugal so you can save your Gold.

The primary thing you should save Gold for is upgrading your equipment. Upgrading your gear can be the difference between being capable of completing certain objectives or not, so it's important to have the best possible equipment at all times. The amount of Gold required to upgrade a piece of equipment varies.

Bring A Friend

Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds is a multiplayer game, and it rewards playing with other people. While you're in a party with other players, you'll gain bonuses to rewards earned by completing tasks that you'd normally do by yourself, such as fighting bosses. One of the bonuses is bonus Gold, which makes quite a difference once you're in a party of five.

Playing with one extra player will only grant you three percent extra Gold earned, but each player you add to your party will grant you three percent more Gold earned, up to a maximum of 12 percent in a party of five. If you're trying to earn Gold quickly, then pair some of the Gold-farming methods below with a five-player party. Plus, you'll get to adventure with company, making objectives easier to complete, therefore earning you more Gold per hour.

Equip Gold-Farming Gear

There are many ways to boost how much Gold you earn from all activities, other than the party bonus. First off, you can purchase Energy Drinks from the Basic Shop for 50 Diamonds each, which boosts your Gold gained, along with items and experience points, by 700 percent for 30 minutes in select areas.

After buying an Energy Drink, the price for buying the next one multiplies for a short time, so you'll have to wait until the next day to purchase another energy drink for only 50 Diamonds. Despite the multiplication, using Energy Drinks is one of the best ways to increase your wealth in Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds. You can earn Diamonds by leveling up, completing Familiar Missions, and finishing a Labyrinth Of Dreams. You can also purchase Diamonds with real money.

Additionally, there are types of equipment that you can equip to permanently increase your profits while adventuring. For example, the Bounty Boots increase your Gold gained by ten percent. Overall, using equipment that boosts the Gold you earn is essential if you want to farm Gold in Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds.

Sell Items

Selling items is one of the most time-tested methods for earning money in video games. In Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds, you'll come across lots of valuable items that you don't need, so you can simply sell them for a profit. While playing this game, you don't even need a merchant.

Opting to sell many of the same items simultaneously is a quick way to earn Gold if you have many items of the same type that you don't need, since Cross Worlds features a slider that allows you to select how many of an item you'd like to sell.

Simply travel into your inventory and click on the Shopping Cart icon, which is on the right side below your inventory items. Now you can select which items you'd like to sell from your inventory. The Gold you'll earn for selling the item will show up when you select it. You can sell most items, but the profit you'll earn from each is very different.

Complete Daily Activities

Missions and tasks that reset daily are a common theme in games like Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds, and you can earn some neat rewards if you log on and complete them every day. Not only can you earn tons of Gold, but you'll also earn equipment that will aid you on your journey. The difficulty of each daily activity varies, but the challenges will get tougher as you level up since the enemy's level will match yours.

Daily Dungeons are one of the primary daily objectives you should look out for, if you're prepared enough to complete them, that is. Alternatively, there are other daily activities that you can complete, so it's worth checking your menu every day after logging on. The game also features Daily Rewards, which can include Gold.

Defeat Bosses

Bosses offer some of the best rewards upon their defeat, as you might expect since they're a difficult challenge to overcome. In this case, you'll be primarily concerned about the Gold and valuable items they drop. Upon reaching level 18, you can start challenging bosses in open areas for grand rewards.

If you want to fight a boss, open your menu, select Challenges, and then Bosses. You can fast travel to the boss's location before it spawns. These enemies spawn at a few different times, including 12am, 6am, 12pm, and 6pm, so be ready to head into your menu a few minutes before these times if you want to fight a boss. Each boss is different, so the difficulty will vary depending on many factors.

Unlock Achievements

Many games use achievements as a way to track your progress. However, Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds rewards you with Gold upon unlocking an achievement. You can earn three tiers of achievements, the higher the tier you earn, the more Gold you get.

Since you can unlock achievements while simply adventuring, you should make sure to check the achievement list in your menu and get to work on all the achievements since this is a passive way to earn Gold. There may be some achievements that you'll earn 100 percent naturally just by playing, depending on what activities you're partaking in, so don't focus too much on the easier ones since it'll just waste your time.

Use Auto-Battle To Defeat Monsters

Defeating monsters can yield thousands of Gold. Depending on the area, monsters may be weaker or stronger, but it's a great way of farming money regardless of where you are in Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds.

You don't have to farm monsters actively. Luckily, there's an Auto-Battle system in the game, which allows you to defeat enemies and collect your rewards without having to push a single button. You can even customize the Auto-Battle system in your menu.

This system doesn't work well for boss fights, but it works perfectly for weak monsters you'd usually farm for Gold. You can turn on Auto-Battle and leave Cross Worlds running while you're away from the game.

You can also turn on the system after joining a party with your friends since it grants up to 12 percent more Gold. Finally, to maximize this method you can use Energy Drinks, although they cost 50 Diamonds in the Daily Shop.
