Continuing in the trend of unexpected Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl fighter requests, the fanbase is at it again. This time, players are calling on developer Ludosity to add Chip Skylark as a DLC fighter, representing The Fairy Oddparents. You know, instead of the actual protagonist, Timmy Turner.

The in-universe pop star fends off other popular requests, such as Timmy's dad and the Crimson Chin. It remains to be seen if developers listen to the cries of fans, but to be honest, in this post-Garfield world anything is possible.

"'Crimson Chin should get in after Timmy' 'Mr. Turner should get in after Timmy' Nah bro, this guy right here", says Popular_Fruitsnack over on the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl subreddit, sharing a picture of Chip.

Many in the replies agree, but there's no shortage of other Fairy Oddparents fighter requests. Others ask for fellow star Britney Britney, but of course, there's many behind Doug Dimmadome taking the character slot.

This is very similar to the drive to get Hugh Neutron - father of Jimmy Neutron - into the game rather than his son, which actually started before the game had even launched. In fact, the campaign became so passionate that it caught the attention of Hugh's voice actor Mark DeCarlo, who backed the move and said he would be happy to provide voice lines. This managed to maintain some momentum, as a post-launch poll had Hugh as the fifth most-requested fighter, albeit finally overshadowed by Jimmy, who stole first place.

If any of these left-field requests are being considered, we're likely to find out sooner rather than later. Nick Brawl hasn't been great at keeping its update plans under wraps, with dataminers finding proof of Garfield's involvement weeks before the official confirmation. Even before launch, Yang and Korra's confirmation was spoiled by the official artwork, which blatantly depicted their silhouettes.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl launched October 5, 2021. It is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
