Nier: Automata is different than most games in that getting to the credits is really only the first part of the game's story. If you play through the game at a casual pace, doing some side quests and upgrading a few weapons, it should take you roughly 21 hours to complete the first ending.

However, Nier: Automata's story doesn't end the first time you see the credits roll. Completing the story for the first time as 2B will grant you ending A, but the game still has 25 other unique endings. Endings A through E are considered part of the game's main story, while endings F through Z are side endings that aren't necessarily plot-relevant.

If you want to experience the main storyline of Nier: Automata, you are looking at roughly 37 hours to get endings A, B, C, D, and E.

While playing through the game, you will probably stumble upon a side-ending, maybe even before you get the first ending. For example, if you die during the first mission, you will get ending W. Most of these endings are fairly quick to get using chapter select. It will take roughly 45 hours to get all endings; A through Z.

What about the DLC?

Nier: Automata's DLC adds about 3 additional hours of content to play through, and about 4 hours in total for 100 percent completion. This will increase the total time to 100 percent the game to roughly 66 hours.
