As more and more people appear to be losing interest in Fortnite, Ninja suggests Epic adopt Warzone's Gulag idea.

The battle royale genre has quickly become a crowded one. New battle royale titles, or existing games that add a battle royale mode, need to set themselves apart from their competitors. Call of Duty is one of the few titles that probably didn't need to do that. It's so well known that any take on battle royale gaming Activision unleashed on its players would have been successful.

Nevertheless, CoD has attempted to set itself apart in a number of ways via the newly released Warzone. Its rounds have 50 more players than your average battle royale, and after players die they have a chance to re-enter the battlefield. Not via reboot cards or revivals from teammates, but via a victory in the Gulag.

The Gulag is a 1v1 scenario between two eliminated players. The winner of the 1v1 earns re-entry into the match. Most Warzone players appear to be big fans of the idea, including Ninja. In fact, the Fortnite streamer believes Epic should consider incorporating a similar system into the game where he has made his name and his money.

Ninja recently complained about the lack of lasting power players appear to have in Season 2 of Fortnite. The streamer attributes it to players being more concerned with racking up kills as opposed to clinching that elusive Victory Royale. "I think that’s the biggest problem right now with pubs - people don’t try to win as much as they used to," Ninja explained to his viewers. The introduction of a Gulag type system would certainly help remedy that, giving half of the 100 players a second chance each round.

The likelihood of Epic taking Ninja's advice is actually pretty high. When Apex Legends entered the fray, it did not take long for a couple of its more popular features to show up in Fortnite - most notably its ping system and Reboot Vans. Considering how well received the Gulag has been so far, it would not be a huge surprise to see Fortnite's take on it show up, perhaps at the start of Season Three.
