Tomorrow is going to be a very busy day for videogame reveals. Nintendo has announced that it will be holding another "Indie World Showcase" stream on December 10, 2019. Around 20 minutes long, it will air on the company's YouTube page at 1 pm EST/10 am PST. Considering Cadence of Hyrule was revealed during one of these, there's a good chance another surprise Nintendo focused indie game can shadow drop during the stream.

What's curious to note is that this will be happening only a few hours after Sony's final "State of Play" stream for 2019. While indie games are hardly going to draw attention away from something like The Last of Us: Part II, it's cool that Nintendo isn't letting Sony hog the spotlight. We're bound to get something interesting out of both streams, so it's really just a good day to be a gamer.

As for guesses of what will be featured, I don't have much to say. Shovel Knight's final expansions (King of Cards and Showdown) release tomorrow, so Nintendo is probably going to draw attention to them. It's very possible Cadence of Hyrule will receive some expansion or free update, but that's mainly speculation.

It's hard to suggest new ideas for games, but there's probably going to be announcements of ports. Nintendo has done an incredible job fostering the indie community on its platform. While Steam has a larger userbase, Valve's lack of curation has caused many games to go unnoticed. The relative newness of the eShop has allowed many overlooked titles to shine, so a lot of indie developers are keen to jump on that ship.

At any rate, we'll just have to tune in and find out what Nintendo has in store for us. It would be nice to end 2019 with another surprise game we didn't even know we wanted. Cadence of Hyrule really was a neat treat that ended up being a good Zelda entry. A small expansion for that would solidify it as one of the best spin-offs in the series' storied history.

Now imagine that we get a Cadence of Mushroom...That'd be a real trip.
