During Cologne, Germany's Gamescom video game trade show happening this week, Nintendo streamed a Direct-esque showcase titled Indie World, highlighting a number of indie games coming to the Switch, both new releases and ports of recent classics. Here are all the games that were announced during the Indie World stream.

Hotline Miami Collection compiles both games in the influential indie game series Hotline Miami which feature neon pixel graphics and a very 80s, synth-heavy soundtrack. It's available on the Nintendo eShop now.

Superhot is a stylized 3D FPS based around the mechanic that time only moves when the player moves. Originally released in 2016, the game received widespread acclaim later that year for an updated VR version. The Switch port will feature gyroscopic motion controls, and is also on the eShop now.

Ori and the Blind Forest has already received widespread acclaim as a Windows and Xbox-exclusive for its creative 2D platformer gameplay and detailed art style and soundtrack. The Definitive Edition of the game is coming to Switch on September 27, 2019.

Risk of Rain 2 is the sequel to the popular roguelike 2D platformer Risk of Rain. The new installment is a third-person roguelike looter shooter shooter currently in Early Access on Steam. It's coming to the Switch very soon, with an announced Summer 2019 release.

Eastward is the latest by Stardew Valley and Risk of Rain publishers Chucklefish, and takes players on an adventure through a colorful post-apocalyptic world. Eastward will be released sometime next year, in 2020.

Freedom Finger is a comedic 2D space shooter with voice acting by Nolan North, John DiMaggio, Eric Bauza, and Sam Riegel, all of whom have voiced notable cartoon or video game characters, coming Fall 2019.

Röki was shown only in a short, cryptic trailer that nonetheless showcased its eerie music and cartoony art style. Röki will be released in Winter 2019.

Torchlight II is the second installment in Torchlight series, originally released for Windows in 2012. The Switch version will feature co-op gameplay and some pre-purchase in-game exclusives when it comes out on September 3, 2019.

Skater XL is a skate game featuring full board control, acting as a sort of skateboard simulator, theoretically allowing for as many tricks as the player can imagine ways to move a skateboard. It will be released sometime in 2020.

Youropa is a 3D platformer with gravity-based puzzles in an open game world made up of fragmented environments. Youropa was originally released in 2017, and will arrive on Switch in Winter 2019.

Dungeon Defenders: Awakened is the latest in the Dungeon Defenders 3D tower defense series. While it will eventually be available on a number of platforms, the game will release first on Switch in February 2020.

The Touryst is an adventure game set on an island featuring a blocky voxel art style that seems to allow players both to explore perilous dungeons and spend some time soaking up the island life. It even includes a lo-fi in-game arcade version of an earlier game by developers Shin'en Multimedia, FAST RMX. It's available November 2019.

Skellboy is a 2D/3D hybrid fantasy action-adventure game with a Paper Mario-esque graphical style and character designs reminiscent of Super Meat Boy. It's coming to the Switch on December 3, 2019.

EarthNight is a fast 2D platformer with procedurally generated levels, taking place in a world where dragons have taken over. It will be released for Switch later this year, in 2019.

Blasphemous is a dark medieval platformer coming to all major platforms on September 26, 2019.

Close to the Sun is a 3D horror adventure game currently out on Windows, and coming to Switch and other major consoles this year, in 2019.

Cat Quest II has cats in it. What more could you ask for? This fantasy cat RPG will release in Fall 2019.

Spiritfarer is a resource management game about death, coming to Switch in Spring 2020.

Trine 4 is the latest in the long-running indie co-op platformer Trine series, and will be released on October 8, 2019.

Creature in the Well is a stylized action-pinball-adventure, coming September 6, 2019.

One Finger Death Punch 2 is a rhythm-based stick figure brawler that will be released on December 2, 2019.

Best Friend Forever is a dating sim with a dog-raising component, appropriately coming out on Valentine's Day, or February 14 2020.

PHOGS!, also sort of about dogs, requires players to solve puzzles as a character that is best described as if CatDog were just DogDog and had no legs. It will be released Early 2020.

What The Golf? is a game where you golf with more than just golf balls, coming out in Winter 2019.

Kine is a quirky puzzle game about moving machines and office equipment that will be released sometime in 2019.

Hypercharge: Unboxed is this generation's answer to Small Soldiers, featuring classic green toy soldiers and modern action toys alike in a tower defense setting. It comes out Winter 2019.

Northgard is a real-time strategy game about Vikings that will be released on September 26 2019.

Sparklite is a fantastical Zelda-esque pixel adventure coming out in Fall 2019.

Munchkin: Quacked Quest is a multiplayer objective-based party game based on the Munchkin card game series, also coming Fall 2019.

While the marquee announcements during the Indie World stream were all ports of existing indie classics, it's hard to imagine anybody watching feeling disappointed, with a healthy mix of both ports and Switch-exclusives alike being released in the coming months and into next year.
