The Internet Historian’s latest video has a steamy scene with Hello Games’ Sean Murray, causing the man himself to warn fans to not “watch past the 45 min mark.”

You might remember The Internet Historian as the same YouTube personality that brought you the famous Fall of Fallout 76 video, which recounts the various missteps Bethesda made during and after the release of Fallout 76. Now, that same Historian has returned with another game-related video, but this time twice as long. It’s also more of a redemption arc than a half-hour thrashing of a reviled video game, although that’s certainly how it starts.

It also ends with a steamy scene where he reads fanfiction starring the head of Hello Games.

But first, a quick note: although the author of this article and the managing director of Hello Games share the same name, they are in no way related. It’s just a silly coincidence brought about by sticking two very common British names together to denote a single human being. There’s also an actor named Sean Murray, which The Internet Historian’s video also mentions.

Anyway, the video itself recounts the rise and fall and then rise again of No Man’s Sky in the Historian’s typical fashion (ie. memes, and lots of them). But at the end, he recounts the interesting tale of how in 2015, someone wrote an erotic fanfic on Reddit called “My Evening Interview At Hello Games.”

The fun stuff starts at around 49-minutes in and rolls during the credits. Trust me, it’s worth a watch.

It also came to the attention of the real-life person whose likeness is featured so prominently in the fanfic. And he wasn’t too pleased about it.

"UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WATCH PAST THE 45 MIN MARK," wrote Murray on Twitter. "UNDER. NO. CIRCUMSTANCES."

However, his opinion seemed to soften as time went on. Although he later asked, “how do you delete things off the internet?” when the video started trending online, he later wrote “actually, maybe it’s ok” after finding out No Man’s Sky was the third best-selling game on Steam last Thursday.
