No Man’s Sky: Prisms update 3.53 should be out on all platforms later today with a number of fixes. Not all of them are listed on the patch notes, mind you, but there are a few big issues that Hello Games felt important enough to mention.

First was an issue that caused furry creatures to lose their hologram effect while on the Space Anomaly. The second was an issue in VR where stars would actually appear closer than they actually were--sort of the opposite of what you find in a rearview mirror. And third was a rare crash that was related to bases.

But the biggest improvement coming in 3.53 is “improved ship explosion effect during space combat.” No other info was mentioned, but this likely has to do with the visual overhaul that was provided in the recent Prisms update.

In case you missed it, Prisms brought a huge graphics enhancement package to No Man’s Sky, including improved weather, lighting, particle effects, starfield, new audio effects for warping, upgraded photo mode, and more. It also brought flying pets and flying mounts, which apparently also includes this flying fart fish.

You’ve always wanted to explore the universe on a flying fat fish, right?

Expect update 3.53 to arrive on all platforms you find No Man’s Sky on later today.
