Norman Reedus, known for his role of Daryl Dixon in The Walking Dead and Sam Porter Bridges from Death Stranding, recently shared some insight on another Death Stranding game with a reporter from AdoroCinema. IGN Brazil, a partner site to AdoroCinema, quotes Reedus as saying, “I think we're doing a second Death Stranding. [The game] is in negotiations right now. So… Yay!”

This could potentially be huge news for Death Stranding fans, though nothing has been confirmed yet in an official capacity. It also isn’t totally clear if Reedus could possibly be referring to the Director’s Cut version of Death Stranding, which is set to release in September of this year.

In other news, it was also recently spotted that Death Stranding Director’s Cut removed Monster Energy drinks from the game, which left people a bit perplexed. There was an eight-minute-long showcase for Death Stranding Director’s Cut during Gamescom's Opening Night Live presentation, and the Monster Energy drinks were clearly replaced with something else.

But more importantly, the Director’s Cut will introduce a jetpack, a catapult, new missions, and more based on what was shown during the presentation. Though, Hideo Kojima has stated that he doesn't like the name of the game, because it implies the new material was ditched before the game's initial launch. Whatever the case, Death Stranding fans are stoked for any new content that they can get their hands on.
