Mega Construx has a line of Detective Pikachu themed buildable figures and one of them is about to make me lose my lunch.
Lickitung isn't the most adorable Pokémon, but he's cute in his own freakishly deformed way. Not-LEGO building block company Mega Construx has taken some...shall we say, artistic liberties with their version of Lickitung. See for yourself.

Look at the way his face is splitting open on the sides to make room his tongue. He looks like a cenobite. I hate it.
The other 'mons in the Detective Pikachu line arent nearly as disturbing, which is surprising, because they picked 3 of the most deplorable Pokémon designs to turn into toys. I don't know much about Mega Contrux, but I feel like the only licensing deal they could get with Pokémon was for the absolute worst ones.
Looking at some of Mega Construx's other Pokémon figures, some of them aren't half bad. There's a Gyarados that has a surprising amount of detail and a Greninja Vs. Electabuzz 2-pack that, for $23.25, seems like a pretty good deal. Look how much fun this kid is having with Scyther.
I don't know what went wrong with Lickitung, but I pray it never happens again.
