We're just a few short months away from Obi-Wan's arrival on Disney Plus, a continuation of the Star Wars story following the tragic events of Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith. The show was first announced back in 2019, but a few years later, here we are getting our first look at the upcoming show.

Entertainment Weekly's cover showcases Ewan McGregor reprising his role as Obi-Wan. The show takes place ten years after the events of Episode 3, so Ewan looks even more the part of Obi-Wan. Inside EW's monthly edition are even more details about the show as well as several glamour shots of the main characters.

We'll start with Moses Ingram, who plays the role of the villainous Reva. An Imperial Inquisitor that's sensitive to the force, she's been tasked by Darth Vader himself to hunt down all remaining Jedi. She's "ruthlessly ambitious," according to director Deborah Chow and writer Joby Harold, while Ingram describes the character as "all heart." I'm guessing she means "passionate" and not "compassionate."

As explained by McGregor himself in an interview, Obi-Wan starts the series on the run, "rather broken, and faithless, and beaten, somewhat given up." He arrives on Tatooine looking for a hideout and finds an empty cave. You can see that Obi-Wan's home starts out a bit spartan, but he eventually dresses it up by the time Luke Skywalker arrives in A New Hope.

Uncle Owen (played by Joel Edgerton) faces off against Reva at some point, although we know that face off doesn't end fatally since he dies later in Episode 4 (spoilers). Obi-Wan also doesn't spend all his time on Tatooine, either. One of the screeners shows Obi-Wan on a new planet: Daiyu, described by Harold as having a "Hong Kong feel to it."

"It's got a graffiti-ridden nightlife, and is kind of edgy," Harold explained. "It's just got a different lane and a different feeling."

Obi-Wan starts streaming on Disney Plus on May 25.
