New information has been revealed about the Apple Arcade service. One marquee that will be available to subscribers is Various Daylife, which is a game by Square Enix that was developed by the same people responsible for the Bravely Default and Octopath Traveler series.

Apple Arcade is an upcoming service that is similar to Xbox Game Pass, in that it will allow subscribers to access a library of over one hundred mobile games for the cost of five dollars a month. Apple has teamed up with many different third-party developers to create games for the service, including Bandai Namco, Sega, and Ubisoft.

One game that is set to debut on Apple Arcade is Various Daylife, which is an RPG that is developed by the creators of the Bravely Default and Octopath Traveler series. The only information that is currently available about the game comes from a single screenshot and a blurb from the Apple website, both seen below.

In the year 211 of the Imperial Era, players explore a newly discovered continent while living life to the fullest in the city of Erebia.

There isn't a lot to go on based on the blurb alone, but the screenshot of Various Daylife offers some tantalizing details about the game. The options on the right of the screen include the Chain command, which has the words "Warrior Job" written beneath it. It seems likely that Various Daylife will include a character class system of some kind, which isn't surprising, considering that both Bravely Default and Octopath Traveler featured in-depth job systems. The four characters at the bottom of the screen include a woman wearing a set of bunny ears, which suggests that she is either wearing an outfit based on a job or that the game has visible equipment. The former seems likely, especially as Bravely Default had different character models for each job.

Apple Arcade is due to launch on September 19, 2019Various Daylife is currently in development and is due to debut on the Apple Arcade service in the future.
