Fans of official Dungeons & Dragons broadcast adventures helmed by Chris Perkins are in for a treat. D&D publisher Wizards of the Coast finally announced a new show to replace the forever in-hiatus Dice, Camera, Action! It will be titled DnDPresents, and feature most of the cast from Dice, Camera, Action! There will, however, be two notable omissions in the form of Jared Knabenbauer and Holly Conrad, known for their Youtube pseudonyms ProJared and CommanderHolly.

The reveal of DnDPresents came from the official Dungeons & Dragons Twitter account. Only the title and cast were revealed, with more details promised at a PAX Unplugged panel. Fortunately the wait for those details won't be long, as the panel is set to take place at 11:30 AM PT on December 6. As for the cast, the table will led by Wizards of the Coast's own Chris Perkins. The party will consist of Anna Prosser, Nathan Sharp, Mica Burton, and Pokémon Youtuber ShadyPenguinn.

Perkins was the DM for Dice, Camera, Action!, while Prosser and Sharp were part of the original cast. Also part of Dice, Camera, Action!'s cast were Knabenbauer and Conrad. Earlier this year, Knabenbauer came under fire after allegations surfaced that he cheated on his wife with Conrad and solicited nude photos from minors. The scandal all but destroyed his career. His Youtube channel hemorrhaged subscribers. So did Conrad's, since many felt she was just as guilty for supposedly breaking up a marriage and cheating on her own husband.

In the fallout, several prominent online entertainers quietly broke ties with Knabenbauer and his ProJared brand. The Game Grumps deleted all videos in which ProJared was a guest. Dice, Camera, Action! went into a hiatus shortly after, with Wizards of the Coast senior communications manager Greg Tito saying "There are many reasons why. I'm sure most of you know what they are, but we are taking a break from Dice, Camera, Action."

ProJared has since put out a video carefully going through his each of his accusers' statements and refuting them. Conrad has also officially left her husband, who did his best to tell fans he wants nothing to do with the drama. Yet even with the situation settling down, it seems that Wizards of the Coast would rather begin anew without the duo.

For his part, Perkins expressed appreciation for the entire Dice, Camera, Action! cast before alluding to his "terrifying, glorious, hilarious plans" for DnDPresents.
