As one of the first NPCs that players can recruit in their adventures on the Unreliable, Felix may be one of the companions that players have by their side the most. Aside from being full of snide remarks, Felix is also a handy side-kick to bring into battle, even if his special ability isn't as useful as it could be.

Felix's main battle focus is defeating Corporate enemies, which are quite common in the tail end of the game, as well as giving the player a decent Sneak buff. In the Peril on Gorgon DLC, he also gains a significant passive buff to any Tossball based weapons, which is fitting considering his love of the sport.

10 Dead Eye Assault Rifle

Felix may be attached to his Tossball Sticks, but that doesn't mean he doesn't know how to handle a gun. As his skills are mainly based around Stealth and Lockpicking, it makes sense to give Felix a long-ranged weapon if the player is guiding him down the ranged route rather than as a melee fighter. The Dead Eye Assault Rifle can be bought in many places towards the end of the game, though the easiest place to find it is to buy it from Gladys after the player has reached level 22.

9 Hunting Rifle

Edgewater police in Outer Worlds

Unlike the Dead Eye Assault Rifle, the Hunting Rifle can be found fairly early on in the first area of the game. In Edgewater, players can obtain the quest Fistful of Digits that sends them to reclaim fingers from marauder bosses. One of these bosses, Bertie Cotton, is holding the Hunting Rifle and can be looted from him after he has been killed.

8 Tactical Shotgun

Tactical Shotgun in Outer Worlds

As Felix's special ability forces him to get in close to an enemy, a sniper rifle may not be the right call for a weapon and he may need something more close range instead. If players want to keep going with the ranged route for Felix, then a Tactical Shotgun might be the better option.

The Tactical Shotgun can be found on Monarch on the roof of the southernmost building in Amber Heights, but can also be bought from many vending machines later in the game.

7 Plasma Rifle

Plasma Rifle in Outer Worlds

Although not as long-range as the Hunting Rifle or the Dead Eye Assault Rifle, the Plasma Rifle does have a bit more range than the Tactical Shotgun while keeping Felix within range of his special ability. Plasma Rifles can be found just about anywhere in The Outer Worlds, as they are one of the more common weapons in the game, but they are reliable enough to warrant use for the majority of a playthrough.

6 Pink Slip

Pink Slip sniper rifle in Outer Worlds

This unique sniper rifle can't be bought until later in the game once players reach Byzantium, but it is one of the more powerful sniper rifles available. The Pink Slip can be bought from Winston Forsythe in Forsythe Luxury Munitions for 8000 Bits, though players can also find other unique weapons here such as The Exterminator, a pistol that deals significant knockback to any enemies unfortunate enough to be hit by it.

5 Tanaka's Peacekeeper

This unique two-handed weapon can only be found in the Peril on Gorgon DLC, but it is worth grabbing if players have this expansion. Inside the CHEM Lab on Gorgon, during or following the quest Experiment Perilous, players can find this deadly looking spear in the subterranean level, below the giant Spacer's Choice sign in the room immediately out from the elevator that leads back to the upper levels. Tanaka's Peacekeeper is also a good choice for the player character, as it boosts their Leadership shill and increases the damage dealt by companions.

4 Hall of Famer Tossball Stick

Hall of Famer Tossball Stick in Peril on Gorgon

A standard Tossball Stick may be a fine weapon for Felix, but an even better choice would be one that was wielded by a champion player, left behind on the Invading Ship, and hanging on the wall in the bunk room.

This unique variation on a Tossball Stick may not look any different from its normal counterparts, but it deals considerably more damage as is deadly in Felix's hands, particularly with the This.Is.Tossball! skill unlocked to further increase the damage.

3 Flamethrower

Player wielding a Flamethrower in Outer Worlds

Like the Plasma Rifle and Shotgun, the Flamethrower is a decent early to mid-game option for Felix if players are wanting to make full use of his special ability. As the range on a Flamethrower isn't the best, Felix will need to get closer to his enemies to hit them, but that just puts them in range of his Dropkick between setting everything around him on fire.

2 Perfect Game

Perfect Game Stat Screen in Outer Worlds

The Perfect Game is a one-handed variation of the Tossball Stick, the Tossball Blocker, that deals a substantial amount of damage when it hits. Inside the OCI Lower Exterior, head left immediately after entering the building and follow the hallway right to a hole in the wall that can be crouched through. The Perfect Game is sitting on a pedestal in front of the display window, just waiting for an explorer to come along and take it for themselves.

1 The P.E.T.

P.E.T. weapon in Outer Worlds

Found in the H.I.A. Facility on Gorgon, this new science weapon introduced in Peril on Gorgon may be a contender for the strongest two-handed weapon in the game, even when compared to the Prismatic Hammer. The P.E.T. can be found in the Secret Hideout on Gorgon after finding all four issues of The Exhilarating Adventures of Archibald Excelsior, which are scattered around the Gorgon map. The hideout is located just northwest of the OCI Lower Exterior fast travel point, over a short bridge, and not very well hidden.
