We are officially a week away from the launch of a long-awaited Square Enix's looter-shooter title - Outriders. Outriders is developed by People Can Fly, a Polish video game developer who also worked on games like Fortnite, Bulletstorm, and Painkiller. Outriders will be out on April 1, 2021ps4, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, Google Stadia, Microsoft Windows, and PCF has confirmed that there will be a Day One patch for the game.

In a new Dev update released earlier today, PCF went into great detail about the changes that are currently planned for the launch of Outriders. PCF is planning to integrate the Day One patch for Outriders in the preload of the game, so players won't have to wait for another download after the servers go live at launch. However, the company did mention that there is a possibility that this patch may release on April 1st, and if that happens, players will need to download an additional update.   • Bug fixes and improvements mainly focused on the latter section of the game
  • Performance improvements for stuttering issues in the Demo
  • Camera smoothing improvements for players having issues with the camera shake during cutscenes in the demo

There will also be a variety of cutscene/dialogue frame rate improvements, including:

  • PC cutscenes will have the option to choose from 30, 60, 90 and 120fps
  • Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 cutscenes locked at 60fps
  • Xbox One and PlayStation 4 cutscenes locked at 30fps

Apart from that, we've also received some post-launch updates and optimizations for the game. These updates will feature controller adjustment options and faster load times for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.

As for the cheaters and hackers in the demo, the company has also issued a statement saying that they are working on a permanent fix for those who cheated in the Demo and are planning on using these cheats in the full game as well.
