One dedicated Outriders fan has been pouring some insane amount of time into the game's demo, which launched on February 25. The guy managed to play it for 254 hours in 15 days, meaning he has to be logged into the game for 17 hours every single day.

Outriders developers have recently shared some in-game statistics for the first 2 weeks of access to the demo. In addition to the announcement that more than 2 million players have tried the game across all platforms, devs at People Can Fly pointed out average playtime for the demo stood at 4 hours and 20 minutes. However, one Outriders fan goes completely crazy and managed to play it for 254 hours since its launch.

Twitter user TortureUFC quickly responded to the stats, assuming it was him who played the Outriders demo for countless hours. The player admits he has more than 26,000 kills and reveals he collected 25 legendaries within only his first 180 hours in the game. According to the player, he spent the first 5 days since the demo launch “opening chests non-stop.” This approach helped him to collect a wide variety of rare and legendary loot until the developers implement the patch, which significantly reduces the drop chance of legendaries from the chests.

Just to clarify things: with 254 hours of free time, you can complete all of the last three Assassin's Creed games (Valhalla, Odyssey, and Origins) with all side-quests. Though some players still believe Assassin's Creed: Valhalla is endless.

Back to Outriders demo, though. According to the developers' observations, Trickster turns out to be the most popular choice for the players with 28.5% of fans choosing this class. It's no surprise, considering Trickster's powerful abilities and being very easy for a solo playthrough. Four other classes showed almost identical results with Devastator slightly left behind with 20.9% of players' preferences. Such a result indicates People Can Fly manages to balance available classes pretty tightly with equal options for every taste.

Lastly, the studio announced that more than a thousand Outriders players have created more than 10 characters to try out everything this short slice of the game has to offer. The game's demo has no restrictions whatsoever, allowing the players to keep playing the game just as they want.

Recently a hint that Outriders may join the Xbox Game Pass catalog soon attracted the attention of the players. The official Twitter account teased that a new game is coming soon, and it's featuring “a mysterious signal and an anomaly” that Outriders' plot emphasizes heavily. Outriders is coming to the PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S|X on April 1.
