Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle – a Stadia exclusive that usually retails for $19.99 – will be running a free weekend until December 21 at 2:00pm. Google is still offering a free trial of Stadia, so you can play the wild new take on Pac-Man without opening your wallet.

Mega Tunnel Battle is Pac-Man's take on the popular battle royale genre. You'll jump into games with 63 other players, avoiding ghosts, eating dots, and collecting power-ups to outperform the competition. You can invade other players' levels, too, with the chance of knocking them out of the competition with a well-time maneuver. It's definitely Pac-Man like we've never seen it before – check out the trailer below to get a taste of the action.

Stadia has been slowly building a roster of great exclusive titles, and Mega Tunnel Battle is a fun addition to the lineup. It's not going to replace Fortnite as the world's most popular battle royale, but it's a fun diversion from your usual gaming schedule. And, since new Stadia Pro members can try the service for free, it's a great time to check out what Google is offering. Beyond Pac-Man, there's also a fun new competitive shooter from Splash Damage – Outcasters – and Submerged: Hidden Depths – a sequel to the original adventure game from 2015.
