Just last week, developer MegaPixel Studio announced that Panzer Dragoon: Remake would be soaring over to PC and PS4 "soon." While nebulous in nature, it seems the PC version is ready to touch down. In a Tweet from the devs, the team has confirmed that PC players will be able to take flight on September 25, 2020.

You can currently wishlist the game on Valve's digital distribution platform to be informed when it's available. No price was revealed alongside the announcement, but the game goes for $25 on the eShop. There's no reason to expect that this PC port will be any pricier. There is anything in the way of extra content, after all.

With the PC date now out in the wild, it's likely that the PS4 port is just a few weeks away. Considering the late September release for this version, I'd put money on the PS4 version arriving in early October. There would be no reason for publisher Forever Entertainment to not reveal the PS4 version's release date at the same time unless it was still a few weeks off.

Whenever it does land, players will be treated to a rather faithful recreation of the Sega Saturn original. It's somewhat light on content but offers a genuinely thrilling experience for those that are able to stomach the asking price. With a remake of Panzer Dragoon Zwei also said to be in the works, there is a chance sales of this will help fund a potential recreation of Panzer Dragoon Saga (and possibly even Orta).
