Sony isn't messing around when it comes to what they're bringing to PAX East at the end of the month.

The monolith has been shaking up the gaming industry over the past 2 years with their decision to opt out of attending the massive E3 Expo. While it was upsetting to some that they wouldn't be at the expo or debuting any new content there, they did promise that they’d be in attendance to other gaming expos across the world. It looks like they’re holding true to that promise with the recent release of their playable games list for PAX East. Check out the full list below.

There’s a lot to unpack from this games list. Most notable is the presence of The Last of us: Part II and Final Fantasy VII Remake. The Last of Us was one of Sony’s most successful games ever released. It sold faster than any other PlayStation exclusive, with 4.7-million copies shipped in its first month. Doom Eternal is another catching addition, following up on the success of it’s 2016 predecessor.

Sony’s PlayStation has always been a staple console in the gaming world, and this lineup makes it easy to hype ourselves for the upcoming year of gaming. It does beg the question, though: will Sony give us any more info on their upcoming PS5? Seeing as they won't be attending E3 in June, for the second year, there aren’t too many platforms for them to release more news.

Aside from the logo, gamers haven’t seen much on the new console and considering Microsoft has already shown us the look of their new Xbox: Series X, we would say that Sony has some hype to build this year.
