Season 4 Reloaded hits Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone on Thursday and Activision has updated its blog with everything you can expect when the update goes live.

For Black Ops Cold War, expect the bulk of the patch to be spent on Zombies. We got a teaser of the coming Mauer der Toten Zombies map last week with new weapons like the CRBR-S Wonder Weapon and the LT53 Kazimir grenade along with lots of changes to zombie health and armor that will totally change up the Zombies meta.

The teaser wasn't too clear on the story elements of Mauer der Toten, but today's blog adds a lot of missing context.

But the biggest thing coming in Season 4 Reloaded is a brand new objective-based game mode for Warzone. Payload, as Raven calls it, is inspired by classic Call of Duty modes like WWII's War Mode. In Payload, two teams of 20 face off with one side trying to escort vehicles across Verdansk while the other side tries to kill the escorts and slow the payload's progress.

For the escort team, the objective is fairly simple: kill everyone trying to stop you and your precious cargo. For the defending team, killing the escorts will help but so too will buying and building obstacles that slow down the vehicle convoy. If the vehicles haven't passed all checkpoints when time runs out, the defenders win.

Operators will constantly drop in with custom loadouts, but Verdansk will also have items like cash and Killstreaks for both sides to find. You'll be able to try out Payload in the Featured Playlist Rotation when Season 4 Reloaded arrives on Thursday.

Along with Payload, Raven plans to bring the Blueprint Blitz event to Warzone, which will spawn a Contraband Contract automatically after players complete two regular Contracts. Completing the Contraband Contract will award players a permanent weapon blueprint if they can extract it from the DZ, but also lots of cash for the current game.

There's lots more to review, so check out Activision's blog for the full breakdown of what's coming in Season 4 Reloaded, which arrives Thursday, July 15.
