Mario Kart Tour, all set to release September 25th, is continually being hyped up by Nintendo on Twitter and other venues. Very recently, Nintendo was hyping it up on Twitter with the announcement of the fact that Peachette would be a playable character in the game.

While this received a fairly lukewarm response from many on Twitter, a select amount of Mario fans took to Twitter with some artwork that could easily be classified as NSFW. Specifically, Twitter user slaiart posted to Twitter a suggestive picture of Bowsette, a character created by fans a while back in response to Toadette from New Super Mario Bros. U deluxe using the Super Crown item to turn into Peachette.

Thus, fans theorized what Bowser would look like if he used the Super Crown. The result was a highly sensual version of Princess Peach created by fans in incredibly suggestive artwork.

The above tweet, however, displays the Peachette character in action in Mario Kart Tour, which could be replacing Mario Kart 9. With her comes an item that continually launches Mushrooms in front of you that give you a boost or, as the Mario Kart Tour Twitter page puts it, makes "everyone happy!"

This tweet is quite innocent in comparison to the response that it prompted, with further artwork of Bowsette being posted on the internet for everyone to see. Some of the artwork is downright terrifying.

At one point, Nintendo sort of acknowledged the Bowsette phenomenon and, after, tried to quash it by stating on the official page for New Super Mario Bros. U that Toadette was the only character capable of using the Super Crown. Given the monstrosities produced by some, it wasn't a bad idea to try and put an end to the Bowsette craze. Regardless, everyone can be fairly thankful that Bowsette won't have an appearance in Mario Kart Tour, nor any other Mario spinoff for that matter.

Mario Kart Tour is heading gamers' way soon, whether it is needed or not, though if it succeeds, the idea of a Mario Kart 10 could easily hang in the balance. After all, it is quite likely that it will be Nintendo's most successful mobile title. Players will only see following its September 25th release.
