In case you missed the state-mandated mourning in the UK last year, Queen Elizabeth II is dead. Bummer. Obviously, this had a pretty big effect on the world, as a bunch of countries got a new head of state overnight, and will soon get a new face on our cash. However, her passing also interrupted the development of a video game she probably had no idea she was appearing in - Peppa Pig: World Adventures. In a part of the game that takes the Pig family to London, Peppa rounds off the trip by meeting the Queen, encouraging Lizzie to partake in some puddle-jumping. The joyous scene then fades to black, signalling the end of Peppa's stay in the UK. But before she can get back home, the game hits you with something no parent keeping an eye on their kid's gaming session could have prepared themselves for - the funniest tribute to the Queen ever.Related: We Got A Three Year Old Kid To Review Peppa Pig: World AdventuresYep, that's right, this kids' game really does just remind all of the children playing that death is real, and it has claimed their precious puddle-jumping Elizabeth. Hope you enjoyed that cutscene, children, because that's the last time you're ever seeing her. You just saw her jump in her last puddle.

When the Queen died, we weren't short of tacky memorials, as every brand account decided to weigh in. One that will always stick with me is the tweet made by the Crazy Frog himself, as if we were all waiting for him to issue a statement on the matter.

But all of that pales in comparison to a Peppa Pig video game pausing the action just to remind kids that yes, she is dead. They didn't resurrect her just to hang out with Peppa for the day. I guess Charles just doesn't resonate with Peppa Pig fans as much as his ma did - a damning indictment of his reign.
