If you’re headed back into Kanji’s Steamy Bathhouse dungeon a second time in Persona 4 Golden, you’ll be facing off against Intolerant Officer at the end of it this time. With not one but two medium-damage elemental moves to contend with and a frustrating affinity chart, the battle against Intolerant Officer won’t necessarily be an easy one.
Thankfully, though, there are a few helpful tips and tricks to get Intolerant Officer to fall a bit sooner. If you’re looking for some help handling Intolerant Officer in one of Persona 4 Golden’s bonus dungeon boss fights, follow along with our guide.
Our guide assumes you've finished Kanji's dungeon the first time through, and will contain spoilers for bonus elements of P4G.
Intolerant Officer Battle Setup
Recommended Party
With both ice and wind moves at its disposal, a full team for this fight will have at least one person whose weakness is left open. And with Intolerant Officer targeting your teammates' weaknesses when choosing its attack, you'll need to be careful.
Because of this, we'd recommend choosing between Yukiko or Kanji. We opted to go for Yukiko, as she's got the healing skills that made her feel worth the risk.
Intolerant Officer is slightly weak to electricity, but electricity still doesn't do the full amount of damage that a normal weakness does, clocking in at 75 percent instead of the full 100 percent bonus.

Recommended Level And Personas
As a Lv. 27 shadow, you'll want to be between Lv. 28-30 for the easiest time here. We recommended reaching Lv. 28 before finishing the Steamy Bathhouse dungeon, so you'll reasonably be around there for its bonus boss fight, too.
Use your own Persona stock to hit its electric weakness by bringing a Persona that knows electric magic.
Omoikane, Shiisa, and Unicorn are all good early-game choices for your protagonist to use to deal electric damage.

Intolerant Officer Battle Strategy
While it appears to only have one direct weakness, Intolerant Officer also takes bonus damage from ice or wind magic. Because of this, Yosuke and Chie will likely be your primary attackers here.
Keep them to their elemental damage to focus on the weak spots with wind and ice, and feel free to follow it up with a wind or ice Persona of your own to really layer on the damage.
Intolerant Officer will focus its energy on Bufula and Garula, meaning ice and wind are also the primary elements against which you'll need to defend yourself.
This can be done for Yu by using Personas that hold up well against ice or wind. Limiting the damage taken by your protagonist is never a bad idea.
When Intolerant Officer can't exploit a weakness, it will then default to its physical attacks. Keep Yukiko healing to counteract this, and attack with Yu, Yosuke, and Chie.
Do keep in mind, though, that All-Out Attacks are ineffective in this fight, as they deal almighty damage, which Intolerant Officer resists.
If given the option for an All-Out Attack, decline and use the bonus move to do elemental damage to Intolerant Officer a second time to deal the most damage.
Follow these steps, and the battle with Intolerant Officer in P4G will be over before long.
