One thing you can say for absolute certain about Persona 5: Royal is that it is stuffed full of content. Whether you are going into the palaces or enjoying free time events, Royal has tons of unique activities for you to do. With such an overwhelming amount of choices, though, you may be wondering what activities you need to do during your free time.

You can choose to pick up a part-time job or even go shopping while you're on break. Some days you will even get special invites to do activities with your confidants. To help you gain some extra skill points and just have fun in general, we have ranked the best activities in the game.

10 Word Puzzles

If you are looking to spend some time relaxing in the game but need a knowledge boost, then head to Leblanc. The cafe, once cleared of customers, has a variety of stat-boosting activities to do, including word puzzles. Word puzzles are automatic like some other activities, and they require the player's input in order to gain the maximum amount of points.

The puzzles will give you hints, and then you have to fill in the words.

9 Jazz Club

One of the newest features is the ability to head to a Jazz Club with your teammates or alone. The Jazz Club won't be unlocked until you start doing Akechis confidant, though. Once it is, you can go by yourself or bring a friend to raise their stats. You can help increase battle stats or even give your party members special abilities.

There are also special days where a singer will be at the club, doubling the drink effects.

8 Flower Shop

The Flower Shop is a great way to earn money and increase the kindness stat. This stat is needed in the game to do both Sojiro's and Futaba's confidant paths. Kindness is also a bit harder to get than some of the other stats, which you will occasionally increase naturally through gameplay. Like most any job, you can even earn more kindness on sales days.

You will need to learn a bit about flowers to get customers' requests right in the job.

7 Playing Arcade Games

This doesn't always bump up your stats, but it is certainly a fun bonus. Once you unlock Akihabara, you will be able to visit the arcade. For 300 yen, you will be able to play the crane. These prizes can be used to decorate your very baren room. You aren't guaranteed to win prizes unless you play on certain days.

There are five dolls in all to collect, including Jack Frost, and the game doesn't consume time.

6 Darts

Darts is another new feature for Royal and one that you can do with your group of friends. You can either head over the lounge on your own and invite friends or wait for a text asking to play. You will have to use the controlled motion sensors to help aim darts and throw them at the screen. This is a great way to raise the level of your confidant.

This also helps raise the level of your baton pass during battles.

5 Bar Work

Working at the bar during the night is a great way to raise your stats. Customers will come in throughout your shift, and part of your job is to make conversation with them. These customers can be easy going or completely sketchy, and they will give you different stat boosts. This is an interesting way to level-up, especially if you need to make a little money.

Bar work won't be unlocked until you've worked on Ohya's confidant level.

4 Big Bang Challenge

The Big Bang Challenge is a fast way to level up your stats but is a bit tricky to accomplish. If you attempt the challenge without raising your stats, then you will earn guts. If you level up your knowledge, guts, and proficiency, you will be able to consume the whole burger. There are three levels to the challenge that can be done back to back.

Make sure to pay attention to Mona before attempting the challenge to know if Joker will pass or fail.

3 Relaxing in a Bath

Relaxing in a bath can be done as soon as you are allowed to leave Leblanc at night. This activity can be found across from the cafe and will help to increase your charm. The real magic happens during rainy days and the rainy season. On these nights, you can go to the bath and stay in longer than normal. While this will leave Joker on the floor, it will give you guts.

The bath can only be accessed at night, so don't count on afternoon rain to stick around.

2 Maid Cafe

The Maid Cafe is another interesting activity that will unlock once you can travel to Akihabara. This activity can be done both during the day and at night. It will increase your kindness, and you will build up stamps for a special course. One stamp is gained per 1,000 yen you spend and with each visit you can earn five stamps. On Saturday you will even get double the normal amount of stamps.

If you order an item, it may come out wrong; you can gain kindness or guts by the way you respond to your maid.

1 DVDs

DVDs can be obtained from the DVD store in Shibuya and can be watched once you buy a DVD player in Yogen-Jaya. All the DVDs are parodies of popular American series such as The Walking Dead. When watching the DVD, you will get funny snippets of these shows, as well as comments from Mona who binges the show with you. Each DVD is linked to a different stat.

The DVD can be watched two times and are great for after palace viewings.
