*Note that this article contains MAJOR spoilers for Persona 5 Royal.*

Dataminer pan-hime has discovered yet another cut scene from Persona 5 Royal, this time featuring all the adult confidants celebrating together at the Crossroads Bar in Shinjuku.

The scene was pulled from the Chinese build of Royal. A video of the scene was recently translated and uploaded online by gaming YouTuber Faz.

Additionally, note that although the date at the top left-hand corner of the screen reads "4/20", that date is just a placeholder. According to pan-hime's research, this event should take place sometime after March 3.

The scene features all of Joker's adult confidants: Sae, Sojiro, Yoshida, Iwai, Kawakemi, Ohya, Chihaya, and Takemi. Later on, Lala-Chan joins the group celebration.

From the English translation provided by Faz, it appears this scene is some sort of party organized by Sae and Sojiro to celebrate The Phantom Thieves' "success in eliminating evil." Sae was able to get the name of all of Joker's adult friends from his testimony, explaining how Sojiro was able to invite them all together.

For the rest of the scene, the adults can be seen smiling and hanging out together. At one point, they all reminisce about their times with Joker, swapping stories about the different things they each had him do: Iwai explains how Joker was his "delivery person", Takemi tells the group about his time as her "guinea pig", Chihaya admits she forced Joker to buy her stones, Kawakami discloses borrowing money from him, and Yoshida explains how Joker helped him win an election.

As the group listens to each other's stories, Sojiro smiles and says to Sae, "Instead of taking care of him, he took care of us." Sae agrees, adding on, "He all helped us very much and [we] learned much from him."

The group continues their party, even inviting Lala-Chan to sit with them and join the party. Towards the end of the table, Sojiro has one more private conversation with Sae, saying with a worried expression, "Some might say this reality is the false one, claiming Maruki's reality is real..." However, he quickly sits up and smiles, affirming, "But I like this reality," a statement to which Sae agrees with.

Interestingly, in the final version of the game, The Phantom Thieves never told Sojiro or Sae about Maruki and his false reality. This scene suggests that in an early or alternate version of the game, the group filled them in.

Atlus has not released any particular reasons why this scene was cut, though some fans have speculated that the scene only makes sense if the player maxes out all the adult confidants. Regardless of the reasons why it never made it into the final game, at least it's available online for people to view!

Persona 5 Royal is available now, exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
