As you play through Persona 5 Royal, achievements begin popping up left and right simply for experiencing the core story of the game. These trophies cannot be missed, as they occur naturally through gameplay.

How To Get All Story Trophies In Persona 5 Royal

The smoothest way to guarantee grabbing the majority of your Persona 5 Royal trophies is to make sure you’re on the path to the True Ending that was added to P5R.

However, unlocking the True Ending has a couple of necessary steps:

Get Dr. Maruki’s Confidant to Rank 9 before 11/17.
Get Akechi’s Confidant to Rank 8 before 11/17
Decline the deals offered to you on 11/19, 11/24, and 1/9.
Tell Akechi you’re not agreeing to any of the deals when he asks.
Decline the offer on 2/2.

Below, you’ll find plenty of Persona 5 Royal achievements that you’ll be guided to unlock by completing tutorials throughout the game, as well as by performing fusions in the Velvet Room.

Different fusion types unlock as you progress through the game, so don’t worry if you see something unfamiliar in our list before you’re finished with P5R.

A Deadly Debut	Fuse a persona with the guillotine in the Velvet Room.
Efficient Executioner	Perform a group execution in the Velvet Room (This unlocks once you complete the first persona request for Caroline and Justine)
I am Thou...	Negotiate with a shadow until it joins you as a Persona
Tactical Teamwork	Do a baton pass by scoring a knockdown and pass the follow-up to a teammate
Let's Blow It Up	Use a Disaster Shadow's explosion to kill another shadow. (These are random but will appear often enough to make this trophy fairly easy. Whittle down the non-disaster enemies a bit first if you think the explosion won't kill.)
Technician	Trigger a Technical. (Attack dizzy enemies with physical moves)
Jose's Favorite Customer	Buy something from Jose's Shop in Mementos with flowers.
The Phantom Philatelist	Buy something from Jose's Shop in Mementos with stamps.
Talent Thief	Obtain a Skill Accessory from a palace ruler (find all three of their Will Seeds and turn them into Jose, who'll make you an accessory)
Intensive Training	Use incense on a Persona in lockdown in the Velvet Room
The Purpose of a Thief	Win a fight against a Treasure Demon and capture it
It's Showtime!	Perform a Showtime Attack in battle
The Deviated Cognition	Find a deviation within Mementos (Your navigator will announce when this happens, and the trophy should pop right away the first time it does)
Success Built on Sacrifice	Use the gallows for fusion in the Velvet Room
Accident-Prone	Perform a fusion in the Velvet Room while a Fusion Alarm is going off
A Grand Experiment	Use the electric chair in the Velvet Room
The Search For Power	Max out one of Jose's Mementos cognition changes with stamps
Unsurpassed Rebel	Defeat The Reaper

Daily Life Trophies

The final of Persona 5 Royal’s achievements come from your daily life segments. These can be for things like visiting locations, playing mini-games, or from spending time with Confidants.

Plenty of them are based in Kichijoji, the new area of Tokyo added to P5R from vanilla P5, to prompt you to experience the game's new area and its features.

Daily Life Trophies In Persona 5 Royal

Trophy	Unlock Requirement
Leblanc Buffer	Clean in Leblanc using the bathroom supplies downstairs
Tokyo Tourist	Visit a hangout spot with a confidant. You'll unlock them as the story or your Confidant links progress, by accepting invitations, or by reading location books.
Punch That Clock!	Work any part-time job at least once
Batter Up!	Go to the batting cages in Yongen-Jaya (Just hit one ball, and try at night if you aren't confident, as you're given more attempts then)
Getting the Vapors	Go to the bathhouse on a rainy day, stay in when it gets hot, and collapse from the heat. Morgana will tell you when the steam is particularly hot. (A good date to do this is 5/19.)
Easy Money	Win the lottery. You can't really save/reload, but you can buy one ticket every seven days from Station Square, and it's a long game, so you'll eventually get this if you keep playing the lotto.
Going Against the Crane	Win the crane game in Akihabara. You can attempt it once a day.
Trash Into Treasure	Sell sooty clothes at the thrift store in Kichijoji at least once.
Dartslinger	Play darts at Penguin Sniper in Kichijoji
A Hustler's Journey	Play billiards at Penguin Sniper in Kichijoji
A Night in Kichijoji	Visit the jazz club in Kichijoji (Unlocks at Rank 4 of Akechi's confidant)
A Serene Experience	Meditate at the temple in Kichijoji
Professional Modification	Customize a gun (Build up to Rank 4 Guts and begin Iwai's Confidant to unlock)
Angler's Debut	Use the fishing pond (Unlocks on Ryuji's 7/6 invite or by reading the book, Fishpond Spotter. Catch a fish to unlock this.)
Master of Akihabara	Order from the Maid Cafe's special menu. (You have to spend at least ¥20,000 to unlock it, so it'll take at least five visits to get the special. You can find the Maid Cafe in Akihabara beginning on 9/1.)
Pure Perfection	Max out all five of your social stats
A Most Studious Disguise	Place first in your class in any of the four exams. (You'll likely get this in December, since you need to max your Knowledge stat. You also need to answer every question on the exam correctly.)
My Closest Partner	Enter a relationship with any of the romanceable Confidants. (The game will let you know to choose your words carefully when it's time to decide if you'd like to end one of your female Confidant's progression romantically or platonically.)
